The Animal Welfare League, Board members and staff, truly believe that community education regarding responsible pet ownership is fundamental to achieving our objectives.
Our Community Education Officer can visit your school or community group, to educate the community about what we do, and why we do it. We offer valuable information about responsible pet ownership and appropriate and safe behaviour around dogs.
Our service to the community is provided with the primary purpose: to teach the future generation of pet owners how to care responsibly for their animals, which will in turn reduce the numbers of animals we receive at the League.
