The AWL receives thousands of older cats every year and often they have a hard time finding new homes. Unfortunately our mature cats are sometimes overlooked because people prefer to adopt kittens, but there are many benefits to adopting a mature age cat.
Adopting an older cat is a great idea if you have a busy lifestyle. Often good manners and house training are already a way of life for them, leaving nothing else for you to do except enjoy the company of your new family member.
If you are thinking of adopting a cat the AWL urge you to consider giving a second chance to one of our kind and loving older cats.
