Many people believe that we receive much of our money from the Government - this is not true.
The funding for the Animal Welfare League comes from the generosity of animal lovers and the hard work of our staff and volunteers.
We are reliant upon funding from memberships, adoptions, donations, bequests and fundraising for our survival.
We use our donations with great care so that we can help as many needy animals as possible.
