The Animal Welfare League of SA (AWL) is a leading animal welfare and care provider recognised for the provision and development of services for animals in need.
Established in 1964, AWL operate the state's largest animal shelter and lead the industry in re-homing lost and abandoned animals, around 18,000 per annum.
AWL is proud of its contribution, together with other industry stakeholders, in providing a high quality animal care facility and related services to the state's animals, their owners and the broader community.
AWL has a dedicated membership base of over 3,500 financial members and an elected Board who govern the activities of the organisation including long-term strategic direction and governance responsibilities.
The Management team under the guidance of CEO Grant Robb are responsible for managing the operations of the business.
